Shannon Kochis / OWNER

Shannon is the reason Bella Amici Salon exists. She opened the doors 10 years ago and grew the salon to what it is today. She is a graduate from the Douglas J. Aveda School in East Lansing, Michigan and continues her education by attending training opportunites to keep up with the latest techniques. Shannon enjoys giving her clients hair that fits their face shape perfectly. She is a master at texturizing and loves to nourish hair back to health while always keeping up-to-date with the latest trends of the season.

When not at the salon, you will find Shannon with her four children enjoying all the activites and wonder that Northern Michgan offer. She is an outdoor enthusiast and athlete, recently finding a passion and excelling in mountain bike racing. You'll see her riding for her sponsor, City Bike Shop this year. She believes in the community and loves to support local businesses around Traverse City.

Micah Clanton

Micah is a graduate of Booker Institute of Cosmetology and attends yearly classes and hair shows that demonstrate the latest trends in cutting, color, and style.

There is nothing more beautiful than a haircut. Flattered by beautiful dimension that serves to create movement and texture within your hairstyle. Faded or washed out color can make any haircut look less than perfect. Micah enjoys giving his clients a complete experience with their hair.

Emily Drogowski

Emily has been enjoying her career as a hair stylist for 14 years. Her clients are the focus of her work and making people feel great about their hair is a passion of hers. It’s about the experience and connection! Since graduating from Traverse City Beauty college, continued education has been a priority to her as she keeps up on the ever changing trends. Her certifications include Redken Color, obtained in New York, and Global Keratin taming and smoothing treatments, among other precision and creative cutting techniques from various industry leaders and artists. 

While she loves all aspects of hair design, she specializes in short textured styles, long hair, curly hair, color, blonding, wedding parties, and GK The Best hair smoothing treatments. When not in the salon, Emily’s focus is family. She is on the go with her husband and 2 kids, embracing the Up North life.
